In order to act as the Technical Assistant of the BLUEMASSMED Demonstrator Integration Team, the project is hiring an external independent expert. He will:
- maximise the perception of benefits from the BMM project both for participating National Authorities and for the EU stakeholders.
- secure the full recognition by the various EC maritime surveillance integration projects (CISE and EUROSUR in particular) of the specific technology options and recommendations from the BMM projects in terms of -operational analyses,
- Improve the quality of the final phase of the project, specifically the experimental demonstration by coordinating and synchronizing the different activities and reports of the NCs, PNs and SNs and by providing the support for the final reports required by the Commission in accordance with the guidelines contain in the Pilot Project.
- Decrease the daily task burden generated by the final phase of the projects to the NCs, PN / SN.
Duration of the mission:
From 14 March 2012 (or as soon as contracted) until the scheduled end of the project (3 August 2012).
(The effort for the mission is estimated at 70 person/days over the envisaged 4 months period)
No invoice will be paid after 3 August 2012.
Location of the mission:
Partly home-based with periodic sites visits and technical meetings to be held in the participating countries (France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece and Malta). Location and date of the meetings are to be confirmed.
The costs linked to the participation to those meetings will be covered by FEI (travel in economic class and stay allowance per overnight spent away from the usual place of residence max amount 200€ per overnight).
